Per the LA Dept of Health and the LA Dept of Environmental Quality the health precaution has been lifted. Residents can resume recreational activities such as fishing and swimming in the Industrial Canal now.
Repairs are ongoing and a timeline is still being developed. We are evaluating options to return the Florida Ave bridge traffic to full service while repairs are underway and will continue to provide updates as they are received.
Public safety remains a top priority as crews continue repairs.
