At this time, residents are asked to stay clear of the area surrounding the Industrial Canal at Florida Ave and avoid recreational activities such as fishing or swimming in the canal.
Repairs and environmental sampling are ongoing and a timeline is still being developed. We are evaluating options to return the Florida Ave bridge traffic to full service while repairs are underway and will continue to provide updates as they are received.
