SWBNO provides update on 30-inch watermain break at Audubon and Willow

New Orleans, LA - SWBNO contractor and crews continue to work to isolate the break. We anticipate the break will be isolated later today and repairs are expected to continue through the weekend. 

SWBNO contractors installed two pumps to help reduce water in the area. While crews continue to pump water out of the area temporary street closures are in effect at:

Vehicular traffic closed:

  • Willow St from Broadway St to Calhoun St

Local traffic will be limited to:

  • Broadway St from Oak St to Birch St

  • Audubon Blvd from Willow St to Birch St

  • Willow St from Broadway St to Pine St

Water pressures throughout the city remains stable and at this time no boil water advisory is necessary. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
