New Orleans – This weekend, July 18 and 19, 2020, Sewerage and Water Board will repair multiple fire hydrants throughout the Uptown area.

During these repairs, some residents and businesses will likely experience low to no water pressure. Because fire hydrants are connected to water mains, there will be residents who are not necessarily near a hydrant who may experience low to no water pressure for a short period of time. That is why we want to ensure that all Uptown residents were alerted of the possibility of a brief water loss. Our crews will work as swiftly as possible to minimize the inconvenience.

We encourage customers in the area to make any necessary preparations and to call 52-WATER immediately if they experience a drop in pressure.
