Sewerage and Water Board Issues Notice to Residents in Michoud and Venetian Isles

Starting tonight, December 11, 2019 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans will begin repairing a water leak on the neutral ground at the intersection of Michoud Boulevard and Chef Menteur Highway. This repair is required in order to avoid future pressure loss and/or an unscheduled service interruption to customers in the area.
Residents in the Michoud and Venetian Isles neighborhoods may experience water service interruptions during the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. While we will continually monitor water pressure in the area, we urge residents to call 52-WATER to report any service disruptions or low water pressure. This will help us quickly respond to any issues.
