The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) is accepting applications for a citizen member seat on its Board of Directors.
Council District E Representative (vacancy effective May 21, 2025)
Applicants must:
Be a registered voter in Orleans Parish.
Have been a resident of Orleans Parish for two years prior to their appointment.
Applicants for the Council District vacancy must reside in the City Council District for which he or she applied.
Have experience in either architecture, environmental quality, finance, accounting, business administration, engineering, law, public health, urban planning, facilities management, public administration, science, construction, business management, community or consumer advocacy, or other pertinent disciplines.

New Orleans – Hard Rock Construction, L.L.C., working for the Sewerage and Water Board, will perform an emergency water line tie-in today, July 25, 2018.
