The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) is accepting applications for citizen member seats on its Board of Directors that will become vacant this spring:
Council District C Representative (vacancy effective March 27, 2025)
Consumer/Community Advocate (vacancy effective March 27, 2025)
Applicants must:
Be a registered voter in Orleans Parish.
Have been a resident of Orleans Parish for two years prior to their appointment.
Applicants for the Council District vacancies must reside in the City Council District for which he or she applied.
Applicants for the Consumer/Community Advocate vacancies may reside anywhere in Orleans Parish.
Have experience in either architecture, environmental quality, finance, accounting, business administration, engineering, law, public health, urban planning, facilities management, public administration, science, construction, business management, community or consumer advocacy, or other pertinent disciplines.
