The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO), in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has issued a precautionary boil water advisory (BWA) for the Westbank of New Orleans which includes:

Water pressures in this area fell below 20 pounds per square inch (psi) while crews were performing maintenance on a water tower at the Algiers Water Plant. There is no water main break and pressures have returned to normal. SWBNO will notify residents when testing has begun.
