Traffic Advisory: Temporary Road Closure on Hayne Boulevard from Press Drive to Congress Drive

New Orleans, La - The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) contractor, Boh Bros. Construction Co., is scheduled to begin water line repairs on Hayne Boulevard from Press Drive to Congress Drive starting today, Monday, November 4, 2024. The contractor began executing the street closure this morning to facilitate repairing a 12" water line. The street closures are expected to last up to 3 days. Signage and traffic control measures such as barrels and fencing are onsite to direct drivers and pedestrians.
Work Phase:
- Location: Hayne Blvd from Press Dr to Congress Dr.
- Work Description: Water line repair.
- Work Schedule: The water line repair is expected to last up until the end of the day Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
- Traffic Impact: Hayne Blvd from Congress Dr to Press Dr will be closed to through traffic during this time.
