Our online application starts with you clicking on Search/Apply for Jobs. Once you have submitted your online application, you will receive an email notification indicating that we have received your documents.
After the receipt and review of your online application, you may be contacted to obtain additional information regarding your qualifications. Some positions require additional testing that will be conducted by Civil Service. If this is the case, you will be notified of test dates. Once your name is added to the eligibility list, you may be selected to participate in the interview process.
To begin the interview process, your application materials will be forwarded to the hiring team. Once they review your application and test scores, the hiring team will determine if they will interview you for the position. If you are selected to interview with the hiring team, you will be contacted by Human Resources to schedule a time for an interview. If you are selected for employment by the hiring team, you will be given a conditional job offer, pending you undergoing a pre-employment background check and passing a health screening.
The SWBNO will conduct a background investigation for employment candidates. This includes a review of employment references, college transcripts, driving record and criminal conviction records.
We are proud to be a drug-free workplace. Prior to beginning work, you will be required to complete a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screen paid for by the SWBNO.
