Traffic Lane Closure – West Bound Lane of Tchoupitoulas St.

New Orleans – Today, the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will be making street repairs in advance of carnival season. The project will require the closure of Tchoupitoulas St. between General Taylor St. and Austerlitz St.
The westbound lane of Tchoupitoulas will be closed shortly after 6:30 a.m. and remain closed until Friday, Feb. 15. Traffic on Tchoupitoulas headed in the direction of General Taylor will be detoured right onto Louisiana Ave., from Louisiana onto Annunciation St., from Annunciation onto Napoleon Ave. and then back onto Tchoupitoulas.
Please drive safely and avoid that area if at all possible.
