Your customer account upgrade will be available this fall. Once the new account experience is live, you will need to register. Your old account will no longer be active.

To sign up, you will need the following information:

  • Account number
  • Last name or company name (as seen on your bill)
  • Service address

All of this information can be found on your most recent bill.

YOUR SMART METER WILL UNLOCK EVEN MORE BENEFITS:

Once your new smart meter is installed, it will automatically send water use readings to your account. Your water use data will be at your fingertips without having to rely on us for a meter read.

Soon, your smart meter and your new customer account will give you more control over your water use and, ultimately, your bill.

How do I sign up for my new online account?

Your new online account will be available later this fall. Once it’s live, you will need to sign up. Your account will not automatically transfer.

To sign up, you will need the following information:

  • Account number
  • Last name
  • Service address

All of this information can be found on your most recent bill.

Will I need a smart meter to use the new online customer account?

No, you will not need to wait for your smart meter to be installed in order to sign up for your new customer account. However, its full range of functions will not be available until your smart meter has been installed and you have roughly six months of smart meter data. In the meantime, you will be able to:

Once your smart meter is installed, you’ll have access to near-real-time water use information, customized leak alerts, and more.

Will my new online account and smart meter cause my water bill to increase?

When you receive your first bill based on smart meter data, you may notice a difference in your water use compared to previous bills. Our older meters tended to under-record water use. Smart meters are more precise, and they can detect smaller amounts of water going through your meter, including leaks. The more accurate smart meter readings may impact your bill.
