KIND OF WORK:
Entry and training level semi-skilled and specialized field work in reading and maintaining residential water meters; and related work as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working outside under various weather conditions.
Walk 3 to 5 miles per day on assigned route
Lift up to 50 pound meter coverings.
Be able to use a computer (handheld device)
Be familiar with the lay out of the City of New Orleans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid driver's license.*
High school Diploma or GED Equivalency Diploma issued by a state department of education.*
