Traffic Advisory: Esplanade Ave Closure at N. Claiborne Ave to N. Rampart St

The Sewerage and Water Board (SWBNO) of New Orleans has temporarily closed river bound traffic of Esplanade Avenue at N. Claiborne Avenue to N Rampart Street for approximately three weeks. This closure is required to install a line stop and to facilitate repairs to a 20” water valve.
The roadway is expected to reopen on Friday, January 26, 2024. Public safety is our priority; signage is in place to direct traffic.
