Traffic Lane Closure – Girod St.

New Orleans -- On Friday, Feb. 1, the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) will be repairing a sewer main on Girod Street. The project will require the closure of Girod between Carondelet Street and St. Charles Avenue.
The lane will be closed shortly after 6:30 a.m. and remain closed until the work is completed. Traffic on Girod headed in the direction of St. Charles will be detoured left onto Carondelet, from Carondelet onto Poydras St., from Poydras onto St. Charles and then back onto Girod.
Please drive safely and avoid that area if at all possible.
