DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, November 5\, 2026\, Sewerage and Water Board of N
 ew Orleans (SWBNO) contractor\, Boh Bros\, will temporarily close one of t
 he northbound lanes of General De Gaulle Dr from Sandra Dr to Life Center 
 Dr to facilitate a water valve replacement. \n\n The valve replacement als
 o requires a water closure which will temporarily disrupt your water servi
 ces.   While minimal customers are anticipated to lose water service entir
 ely\, all customers across the Westbank will experience lower-than-normal 
 water pressure during the closure.   \n\n  TRAFFIC IMPACTS:   \n\n \n	  LO
 CATION:  General De Gaulle Dr (northbound left hand lane) from Sandra Dr t
 o Life Center Dr \n	  WORK SCHEDULE:  The lane closure will begin on Thurs
 day\, November 5th and is anticipated to take place until Sunday\, Novembe
 r 8th. \n	  TRAFFIC IMPACT:  Northbound traffic on the left hand lane will
  be shifted to use the other 3 lanes of traffic. \n \n\n For all traffic i
 nterruptions\, signage and traffic control measures such as barrels and fe
 ncing are onsite to direct drivers and pedestrians. Crews will allow buses
  and emergency vehicles to pass\, as needed.   \n\n  WATER DISRUPTION IMPA
 CTS:  \n\n \n	  WHEN:  Thursday\, November 5\, 2026\, beginning at 5:00PM 
 - 9:00PM \n	  WHERE:  \n	 \n		 Customers on the Westbank (lower-than-norma
 l water pressure) \n	 \n	 \n \n\n  When water is restored\, run your fauce
 ts for 5 minutes to flush out the lines before resuming regular use.  \n\n
  If water is not restored within one hour after end time\, please contact 
 us at the email/phone number below. Gauges will be placed and monitored by
  a SWBNO crew during the water valve closure. The procedure will be aborte
 d\, and the closure opened immediately if there are any unacceptable press
 ure losses during the closure or if any pressure gauge readings fall to 30
